TCL - PURCHASING OPERATIONS ANALYST - SENIOR|CC02
Provides support for purchasing system strategy. Designs, implements and communicates purchasing system improvements. Participates in and/or leads process improvement projects using standard tools such as Six Sigma.
Supports full flow of electronic sourcing process, including user training.
Understands, maintains and improves category hierarchy.
Influences strategic direction with regard to systems for improving procure-to-pay flow.
Participates in benchmarking and improving purchasing systems and processes.
Analyzes e-sourcing and catalog usage and assists Corporate Indirect Purchasing in meeting goals for utilization.
Coordinates globally with all of Corporate Indirect Purchasing for e-sourcing and catalogs.
Collaborates with Purchasing Systems Analysts to ensure alignment of goals and objectives and management of applicable changes.
Coaches and mentors less experienced purchasing operations analysts.
Collaborates - Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
Continuous Process Improvement - Recognizes areas in which a process can be improved by properly implementing process improvement and waste reduction methodologies to reduce process cost and improve quality in current manufacturing processes.

Develop Systems and Processes - Applies systems and processes to improve and complete work; works to eliminate system and process inefficiencies and roadblocks; demonstrates use of structured work documentation such as communication channels, work steps, procedures, checklists, or flow charts.
Gap Analysis And Inference - Collects data by speaking to stakeholders, benchmarking, or other method to compare and contrast gaps between current state and desired state (e.g. product capabilities, customer requirements, etc.); infers directional steps needed to reach desired state; making recommendations, as appropriate.

Incident Management - Maintains reported issues or requests assigned via the Incident Management system to log actions taken and track trends.

Purchasing Systems - Recognizes linkage to multiple systems such as purchasing order, payment, engineering release, and quality systems; troubleshoots and corrects issues resulting from data issues; writes ad-hoc reports using tools within each application; identifies and documents work flows and system testing; actively participates in implementation process of new purchasing systems including requirements gathering, design, communication, and training.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
College, university or equivalent degree required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Intermediate experience in information technology, customer service, training, and supplier contact desirable.
