Pricing Team Lead

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintaining Pricing Data: Ensure accurate pricing data in order management systems, including account setup and data verification. Track and monitor win/loss data and requests for quotes.

  2. Pricing Recommendations: Make pricing recommendations for new products and changes, and implement and review price adjustments. Execute pricing strategy at product or market segment levels.

  3. Pricing Improvement Projects: Lead, manage, or participate in pricing improvement projects. Develop outcomes and implement pricing improvements.

  4. Reporting and Analysis: Create reports and analysis, presenting results and conclusions to managers.

  5. Customer Assistance: Provide direct and prompt assistance to customers regarding complex pricing issues through various communication channels.

  6. Confidentiality Management: Maintain confidential information and manage its use appropriately.

  7. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement teams and implement new processes and programs.

  8. Mentorship: Coach and mentor less experienced Pricing Analysts.

  9. Translating Relevant Market Data: Collect and categorize customer voices and market information, analyzing findings to identify opportunities for customer solutions.

  10. Value Differences: Recognize the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to the organization.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Marketing, Strategy, Accounting, or related subject required.

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

  • Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.

Additional Knowledge and Skills:

  1. Good understanding of pricing and analytics.

  2. Experience working with sales and account management teams.

  3. Communication with global stakeholders and team handling.
