Operations Excellence Project Manager
Supports several aspects of a function’s Functional Excellence efforts.
Works within assigned functional discipline to assist with improvements in common functional processes and tools.
Assists with the development of communications to ensure that employees are up-to-date on functional and discipline ideas and efforts.
Assists with identification of appropriate training opportunities.
Deploys the communications strategy to increase awareness, enthusiasm, and participation in the functional excellence program.
Maintains updates and accuracy of information documented in functional databases, websites, etc.
Assists with management of assigned projects.
Assists with Global Position Profiles
Assists with Cummins Operating System Functional Assessment Process.
COS - Have very little knowledge of the understanding and use of continuous improvement through the lens of the COS ten practices.

College, university, or equivalent degree in field appropriate for the function required.

The Project Manager, Operations Excellence is a Global role responsible for engaging in delivering insights through analytics and improvements on the Warehouse (WH) which are visible in the business KPIs derived from IPDC operations. This individual is actively engaged in Global/regional OE projects and initiatives and deploy them at IPDC through six sigma and other lean tools/methodologies.
The OE Project Manager will play a key role in delivering analytics and extending strong support to the IPDC team in achieving the business results.
Key Responsibilities -
Closely collaborate with the local and regional OE managers to ensure timely, consistent and accurate delivery of the OE dashboard and any other associated metrics/causal analysis etc.
Drive WH improvements through bottleneck management and translating to tangible business values
Provide disruptive insights into supply chain capabilities of the WH
Drive extensive analytical assessments to describe cause and effect relationships, assess trends and identify outliers through the use of statistical analyses (A3, 6S)
Contribute to the understanding and application of process excellence tools
Collaborate in the development of the visual management strategy at IPDC
Support key initiatives in the aftermarket integration of Cummins businesses with CSCO
Support the development of proposal/project plan for IPDC exports PDC and then lead the project execution
